1. Who we are
KernelGT BPO ("KernelGT BPO", "we") operates StuckThings, WorldWideManga and kernelbpo.com. This policy explains how we handle personal data. Contact: info@kernelbpo.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name or username, email address and password (stored hashed) when you register.
- Creator and payout data: profile information, and identity, bank and tax details that you provide directly to Stripe through Stripe Connect onboarding. We do not receive or store your full bank account or card numbers; we receive from Stripe limited information such as payout status and the last digits of an account.
- Subscription and transaction data: plan, amounts, dates and status of payments (card details are handled by Stripe).
- Messages: information you send when you contact us, including your name, email address and message.
- Usage data: pages viewed, ad-supported views of creators' works (needed to calculate earnings), device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral source.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use data
- To provide, secure and improve the Services and to create and manage accounts.
- To process subscriptions, calculate earnings and pay creators.
- To detect fraud, bot traffic and abuse, and to enforce our policies.
- To respond to your messages and give support.
- To measure how the site is used (with your consent, through Google Analytics) and to show advertising on WorldWideManga.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Services and payouts); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Services); consent (analytics and advertising cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. Advertising and third parties
WorldWideManga is funded by advertising. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, and, where you consent, to personalize them. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
We share data with service providers that process it for us: Stripe (payments and payouts), Google (Google Analytics), our hosting and email providers, and advertising partners. We do not sell your personal information for money. Where advertising cookies are enabled, the sharing of identifiers with ad partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by rejecting cookies in our banner or contacting us.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer, with notice where required.
6. International transfers
We operate from Guatemala and the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized afterwards, except records we must keep for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal reasons.
8. Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email info@kernelbpo.com.
9. Your rights under the CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion and correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@kernelbpo.com. We may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorized agent.
10. Children (COPPA)
The Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, contact info@kernelbpo.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Questions: info@kernelbpo.com.
